What We Do
From a new system for a bare yard to the seasonal work that keeps an existing one alive through a New Jersey winter.
New irrigation systems
Zone-by-zone system design matched to your property, planting beds and water pressure, installed to run efficiently from day one.
Tune-ups and adjustments
Head alignment, coverage checks and controller programming, so water lands on the lawn instead of the driveway.
Zones, valves and heads
A zone that won't come on, a head that won't shut off, a leak you can hear but can't find — diagnosed and repaired.
Fall winterization & spring startup
Systems opened and pressure-tested in spring, and fully blown out before the first freeze so nothing cracks over winter.
Where We Work
Based in Westwood, serving homes across Bergen County.

Questions We Get Asked
The five things homeowners ask us most. If yours isn't here, call and ask — we don't charge for answering the phone.
When should I winterize my sprinkler system in New Jersey?
Up here the window runs roughly October 15 to November 15 — after the growing season, but before the first hard freeze, which usually means a few hours below 28°F. If you want a particular date, book by mid-October; the last two weeks before a freeze are the busiest of our year.
It matters because water left in the lines expands when it freezes. That cracks PVC laterals, splits poly fittings and ruins valve diaphragms, and a backflow preventer on its own runs several hundred dollars to replace. A blowout costs a fraction of the repair.
How often should I be running my sprinklers?
Most lawns around here want 1 to 1.5 inches of water a week, and rainfall counts toward it. In practice that's usually two longer cycles a week, going to three in the hottest stretch of summer.
Longer and less often beats a short run every day — deep watering pulls roots down, frequent shallow watering keeps them at the surface where they dry out fastest. Set it in spring and adjust when the weather turns.
What does a new sprinkler system cost?
It comes down to the property more than anything else: how many zones the layout needs, the size of the lawn and planting beds, your water pressure, and how much of the yard is hardscape, slope or mature tree roots. Two houses on the same street can come in quite differently.
That's why we'd rather walk it than guess. Quotes are free, and you'll get a real number for your property instead of a range.
How do I know if I have a leak or a broken head?
The usual signs: a soggy patch or standing water that never dries out, one zone noticeably weaker than the rest, heads that mist instead of spraying a clean arc, a hiss near a valve box, or a water bill that jumps with no explanation.
Most of these are small fixes caught early. A cracked lateral that runs all season is not, so it's worth a look as soon as you notice something off.
When does the system get turned back on in spring?
Late March into mid-April, once the hard freezes are behind us. Opening a system too early is how you find out the freeze got to it.
A startup isn't just turning the water on. We bring the pressure up slowly, run every zone looking for winter damage, clean the filters, straighten and re-aim heads that shifted or met a mower, and reprogram the controller for the season ahead.
